Calvin--10 months

Clearly the blogging has taken a hit since Kid #3 arrived on the scene.  If you came to my house, you'd see that some other things aren't quite up to old standards (cough...clean clothes...cough...dishwasher...cough)  To catch up a bit, here are some photos of the Cal-Pal doin' his thing:

Workin' for that Cheerio

Rare smiles

This is the most accurate picture of what he looks like right now

The night I scrambled 8 eggs for 3 kids and almost ran out of food.  Cal ate his fair share!

Fell asleep sitting up; slumped over in a heap

Destroying the cookbooks--one of his favorite games

Little Brother :)
Some highlights of Cal being 9/10 months old are:
-he crawled at 9.5 months
-he started pulling himself up to stand the very next day (making him the youngest Westphall to do either of those things)
-he morphed from hating baby food to loving all food (and screams if you don't share with him)
-milk in a sippy cup is probably his favorite thing to have, followed by Cheerios in milk
-no words yet, but safe bets are on "Dada" coming out first
-he weighed 18 lbs, 10 oz at his 9 month check-up (and I forget how tall he was...sorry kid)
-he doesn't really like toys, unless they belong to someone else, but he tends to play with cars the most
-he still has a "strong personality" (read: cries a lot), but it is getting better.  He knows how to put on a show at church, so no one believes that he is a difficult baby.  They think he is "so sweet" and "so easy"  They can come over some evening and observe the truth!
-he has also turned into a thumb-sucker!  He loves his brown blanket and pops his left thumb in to go to sleep (just like Sambo)
