This is Sam fingerpainting. They used a mixture of sweetened condensed milk and food coloring to make shiny paint. He was a sticky mess, but he smelled so sweet!

Good thing Oma got a picture last week--this week he has a bruise on his forehead, a scrape on his eye, and a runny nose. Not exactly photogenic. People tell me that is par for the course when you have a son--constant bumps and bruises.More cute things he says: oopsy-daisy (oopy-deezee), happy birthday (ah-pee day-day), and "What?" while holding up both of his hands.

Yes, constant bumps and bruises is becoming the norm. Jack has a bruise on his cheek from last week and I still have no idea where it came from. Couple that with splitting his forehead open on the tv stand on Monday and he looks a little rough. They're both healing, but I still can't feel afraid someone will think I did something to him.
Is he just the happiest baby EVER? All the time? His smiley eyes just melt my heart!
