In case you have forgotten, Anne and Sammy's favorite player for the Wild is number 96, Pierre-Marc Bouchard. Most parents would be concerned if their kids were obsessed with a balding French-Canadian, but not us! We welcome their enthusiasm.
Sammy was playing with Anne's letter puzzle last weekend and came running over to me. He said, "I made nine-six!" I looked at what he was holding and it was two lowercase "g"s, one turned upside down, to look like a nine and a six. Even when making words the boy is learning his jersey numbers!
