The Birthday--Part 4 (Conclusion)

Annie enjoyed opening her many gifts, though she was more interested in scooting around the floor and playing with tissue paper. She received great new clothes, shoes, books, and toys. Oma even made her an ABC scrapbook with pictures of her first year. Overall it was a great party for our wonderful baby!Anne rudely checks the price tag on her new outfit. We must teach her some manners!
Godzilla!!! Sam set the camera on the couch as Anne tried to pull herself up and get it (she failed)
The aftermath: After "messing" all over her shirt and tights, Anne changed clothes and we packed her up in the car (Steve and Mel wanted to take us out for dinner.) Anne promptly crashed from her party high and slept in the car. This also shows another perk of being one year old: your carseat faces forward!
When we returned home Anne enjoyed scooting around with her balloon. Nothing but smiles!

I can't believe how big she is. You guys have done such a great job of raising her. I can't wait until she starts talking a bunch! Kids say such funny things. Is she be more like Sam and be chatty? Or is she more like Corrie, and quiet? :)

Oh you know it! They are delicious. I can't wait til she finishes the cherry ones so I can try the apple cinnamon. Did you know that the can says 80 pieces equals one serving. That can't be right, can it?

Adorable pics! Looks like Annie had a great day. I'm looking forward to the forward facing car seat. The car seat is soooo heavy now that she is 16 lbs.!!!

Sarah--I think the whole can of puffs is only 150 calories. And I could totally eat the whole thing. I like the sweet potato flavor best.

Ginger--Anne's personality is definitely Sam's: easygoing and chatty chatty! This morning she was just babbling away about anything and everything. "Uzz at?" (what's that?) and "Izz hee?" (where is he? (meaning Daddy))
